Toby creates his work through a process of photography and digital manipulation. A strong sense of colour plays its part with geometric forms and graphic lines reducing life like images to abstract representations. Drawing with a dot he produces pared down visuals with a free painterly result.
In a ten year collaboration with make up artist Sharon Dowsett, Toby had the opportunity to record and respond to the backstage production of major fashion shows in London, Paris and Milan. Other International Clients include Y-3, Nike, Issey Miyake, Kylie and IBM. Toby has also been visiting tutor at Epsom University of the Creative Arts and London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London.
